The intent of this page will be to display some examples from the Skeletal Animation technology created by Intel Architecture Labs.

These pages are not to be interpreted as an official statement or publication of Intel or Digimation. Although not truely an unbiased survey, this page should be treated as independent overview of publically available information.

This technology was used in Director 8.5 and can be seen in recent Shockwave movies.

A follow-up white paper was written to describe some unsupported undocumented methods available in the bonesplayer.

This technology was previously marketed under the name "Animate RT" through Digimation.
